Eletrolar Group brings clients, prospects and partners together at IFA 2026 happy hour

IFA

Grupo Eletrolar All Connected attended the 102nd edition of IFA, held from September 4 to 8 in Berlin, not only to closely follow the main trends shaping the technology industry, but also to strengthen relationships with clients, prospects and partners who were also making their way through the halls of the German trade show.

Considered the largest consumer electronics trade show in Europe and one of the most important in the world, IFA brought together more than 2,000 global exhibitors this year and welcomed more than 240,000 visitors from over 155 countries. Grupo Eletrolar has been following the event for several years, using it as a barometer for the technologies and products expected to reach the Latin American market in the months ahead.

“We have been visiting Europe’s largest multisegment durable goods trade show for many years. Here, we see many new technologies in robotics and artificial intelligence, major product launches, as well as new categories. IFA is very similar to Eletrolar Show, which is why we are getting increasingly closer to the event to develop this business partnership between the continents,” says Carlos Clur, CEO of Grupo Eletrolar All Connected.

A happy hour bringing Latin America together

In addition to following the launches and trends showcased across the exhibition halls, Grupo Eletrolar took advantage of its time in Berlin to host an informal gathering for clients, partners and prospects who were also attending the show. The happy hour brought together 55 business leaders from different countries for a conversation about the Latin American market and business opportunities across the region.

The event took place at Monkey Bar, one of the German capital’s most sought-after and trendiest venues at the moment, known for attracting creatives, executives and international visitors during major events in the city.

For Clur, the initiative reinforces a movement the group has already been developing at other international trade shows. “We have a great relationship with the IFA team, and we are also meeting with companies from Latin America. We have created a meeting point.” He also revealed plans to replicate the format at other events around the world, such as CES in Las Vegas and the Chinese trade shows visited annually by the group’s team.

AI, robotics and electric mobility on the radar

Among the trends observed by Grupo Eletrolar’s team at IFA 2026 were artificial intelligence embedded in products, home and industrial robotics, residential security solutions and electric mobility. The latter gained even more space at this year’s edition, with a focus also on the circular economy and electronics repair.

“Artificial intelligence continues to be the major revolution in products, and robotics is very promising. We are seeing trends, and many companies that participate in Eletrolar Show are here as well. We will bring all of this to our show in June 2027,” says Carlos Clur.

Eletrolar Show expands with a new mobility area

In Brazil, the impact of these trends is already visible at Eletrolar Show All Connected, the largest durable goods trade show in Latin America. The 2026 edition, held in June at Distrito Anhembi and Sambódromo in São Paulo, grew by approximately 30% in physical exhibition space and introduced Future Mobility, a platform dedicated to electrification, infrastructure, auto parts and micromobility, held alongside the main event.

“We are growing significantly in Brazil, with our Future Mobility area running alongside Eletrolar. We believe this market never stops surprising us, and we continue to see new products that bring comfort to people’s lives and make life better,” the CEO added during his time at IFA.

A clear mission: connecting Latin America

If IFA serves as a showcase for emerging trends, Grupo Eletrolar’s mission goes beyond simply following them: it is to use these trends as a bridge to bring Latin American markets closer together. The group already operates in Brazil, Mexico and Argentina and plans to expand its presence to Paraguay, Peru and Colombia in the coming years.

The trip to Berlin is just one part of the year-round travel schedule maintained by Grupo Eletrolar’s team, always in search of new technologies and partnerships that can be brought to Latin America. After IFA, the next destination is an auto parts trade show in Frankfurt. The team will then travel to China to attend Canton Fair, Hong Kong Electronics and Global Sources, in addition to its traditional presence at CES in Las Vegas.

“We are always visiting the world’s most important trade shows to identify trends and technologies and build partnerships in Latin America, with our industries and companies across the region,” concluded the CEO of Grupo Eletrolar.
